A useful form starts with the questions you need answered. In this Intaria Academy lesson, we'll find a volunteer application template, inspect its fields, and identify the next step.

Open Templates, then choose Browse templates to reach the library.

Start with the workflow you want to support. For this example, we want to collect interest from people who would like to volunteer.

You can narrow the library by form type and industry. Select Applications, then Nonprofit. These filters help us focus on the right kind of form.

Look for Volunteer Application in the matching templates.

Open Volunteer Application.

The detail page describes the information this template is designed to collect: availability, interests, skills, and an emergency contact. Check that this matches the purpose of your form.

In Template preview, inspect the fields before you start. Full Name and Email are required,

and Availability is required too. These are the answers the template currently treats as essential.

The preview also includes Phone, Areas of Interest, Skills and Experience, and a question about why someone wants to volunteer.

There is an Emergency Contact field as well. Consider which details your organization actually needs.

Notice Use this template. The page explains that it creates an editable copy in your Intaria workspace, leaving the master unchanged. That is where you will make the form fit your own process.

When you're ready, choose Use this template and complete account setup. Then review your copy before publishing.

You now know how to find a starting point and check its questions. Explore the library at Intaria dot A I slash templates.
